-
Objectives should be consistent with child developmental
needs
a.) Objectives should be directed toward behavioral outcomes (teach things
that kids can practice --such as
brushing their teeth).
b.) Objectives should be age appropriate.
c.) Objectives should focus on major health objectives for the nation.
-
There should be integration of health related material
into curricula.
-
Health instruction should include parents and family.
(Send information home to parents related to what you are teaching
the children in school so the family can reinforce the lessons.)
